FairFiles Hub Legal Center
Terms of Use
These nationwide U.S. Terms govern FairFiles Hub’s free consumer-education and self-help Service, including local-first tools, templates, calculators, account features, and AI-assisted education.
1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the FairFiles Hub website, member account, educational content, local-first tools, calculators, templates, AI-assisted features, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account, affirmatively accepting these Terms, or using a protected feature after acceptance is required, you agree to these Terms and the policies incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the protected Service.
2. Operator and Ownership
FairFiles Hub is a consumer education and self-help technology platform owned and operated by Credit Score Defenders LLC in New York. It provides consumer education, local evidence-organization tools, and document-preparation assistance. FairFiles Hub is not a law firm and does not provide legal representation. Legal notices may be sent to legal@fairfilehub.com.
FairFiles Hub and separate Credit Score Defenders websites are operated by the same legal owner but may provide different services under different terms, privacy notices, eligibility requirements, and disclosures. Using FairFiles Hub does not enroll you in any separate paid service.
3. Eligibility; United States; Age 18+
FairFiles Hub is intended for adults age 18 or older located in the United States. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 18 and legally able to enter into these Terms.
You may use a personal account only for yourself unless FairFiles Hub expressly authorizes another use. You may not create an account using another person’s identity or share credentials in a way that compromises security.
4. What FairFiles Hub Provides
- Consumer credit and debt education, including source-linked rights information.
- Local-first evidence organization and browser-based encryption tools.
- Controlled educational letter templates and document-preparation tools.
- Calculators, logs, checklists, and downloadable self-help resources.
- Links to courts, regulators, agencies, legal-aid organizations, credit bureaus, and other official or professional resources.
- A Credit Education Assistant for general educational questions and website navigation.
- Account, privacy, consent, and support functions described in the applicable notices.
5. Consumer Education and Self-Help — Not Professional Advice
The Service is educational and organizational. FairFiles Hub does not provide legal, financial, tax, accounting, investment, medical, or individualized credit advice.
Content and tools are not a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney or other qualified professional who can evaluate your facts and jurisdiction.
6. No Attorney-Client Relationship or Legal Representation
FairFiles Hub is not a law firm and does not represent you. Use of the Service does not create an attorney-client relationship, fiduciary relationship, agency relationship, or attorney work-product protection.
FairFiles Hub does not appear in court, negotiate as your attorney, file pleadings for you, serve process, preserve a claim, or provide privileged legal communications.
7. No Promise of Credit Improvement or Credit Outcome
FairFiles Hub does not promise to improve credit, remove accurate information, increase a score, obtain financing, improve underwriting, erase debt, or compel a credit bureau, creditor, collector, court, or regulator to take a particular action.
Nothing on FairFiles Hub is a guarantee of a deletion, score increase, approval, settlement, dismissal, discharge, refund, damages award, or other outcome.
8. Nationwide Use; Federal, State, and Local Law Vary
Consumer-credit, debt-collection, privacy, identity-theft, court, licensing, limitation-period, exemption, garnishment, and procedural rules vary by state and locality and may change over time.
FairFiles Hub may provide nationwide information, but only the applicable law and official procedure for your jurisdiction control your situation.
9. Court and Agency Deadlines
Do not ignore a summons, complaint, hearing notice, garnishment, bank restraint, judgment notice, agency deadline, or other time-sensitive document.
FairFiles Hub does not calculate or guarantee legal deadlines. Verify every deadline with the responsible court, official docket, clerk, agency, statute, regulation, or a licensed attorney.
10. Templates, Letters, and Generated Drafts
Templates, letters, worksheets, and generated drafts are starting points for your review. You are responsible for every fact, date, name, address, account reference, legal citation, attachment, statement, and requested action before use.
A generated document does not establish that a law was violated, that a debt is invalid, that information is inaccurate, or that a recipient must agree with your position.
FairFiles Hub does not guarantee that a court, agency, creditor, collector, credit bureau, or other recipient will accept, file, investigate, respond to, or act on a document.
11. Your Responsibility for Facts and Lawful Use
You are solely responsible for the truthfulness and lawfulness of information you enter or send. Do not fabricate disputes, identity-theft claims, court facts, account information, evidence, signatures, or other statements.
You are responsible for obtaining any permission needed to use another person’s information, copyrighted material, records, or evidence.
12. AI and Automated Tools
The Credit Education Assistant provides general education and may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased, or fabricated. AI output must be independently reviewed and verified.
FairFiles Hub does not use the Credit Education Assistant to make high-impact decisions about lending, housing, employment, insurance, education, healthcare, government benefits, legal rights, or other similarly significant matters.
Do not submit unnecessary sensitive information to AI features. See the AI & Automated Tools Disclosure for additional limitations and data-handling information.
13. Local Evidence Vault and User-Controlled Storage
The Local Evidence Vault is designed to encrypt selected files in the browser and save the encrypted package to storage selected by the member. The member controls the password, local storage location, backups, deletion, and recovery.
FairFiles Hub cannot recover a forgotten vault password, restore files lost from user-controlled storage, guarantee the integrity of a user’s device, or determine whether a local file is authentic, complete, or admissible.
14. Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.
Use a strong unique password, protect your devices, sign out of shared devices, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access to support@fairfilehub.com or security@fairfilehub.com.
15. Electronic Communications
Service, security, verification, legal, privacy, and account notices may be delivered electronically as described in the Electronic Communications & Signatures Consent and Communications & Consent Notice.
Optional educational or promotional communications require the separate permission described by the applicable feature and may be withdrawn as provided in the Communications & Consent Notice.
16. Privacy and Data Handling
The Privacy Policy describes categories of information processed, service-provider disclosures, local-first storage, state privacy rights, retention, security, AI processing, and request procedures.
You agree not to use the Service to place unnecessary sensitive information into features that do not require it.
17. Third-Party Sites, Providers, and Resources
Links to a court, regulator, government agency, credit bureau, attorney, legal-aid organization, owner-operated website, or other third party do not make that party FairFiles Hub’s agent and do not constitute a guarantee or endorsement.
Third parties control their own content, eligibility, fees, availability, security, privacy, accessibility, and terms. FairFiles Hub is not responsible for a third-party site merely because the Service links to it.
18. Prohibited Conduct
- Use the Service for fraud, deception, harassment, impersonation, unlawful surveillance, identity theft, or another unlawful purpose.
- Submit information you know is false or fabricate evidence, legal claims, disputes, identity-theft assertions, or signatures.
- Access or attempt to access another person’s account, records, tokens, credentials, or local files without authorization.
- Bypass authentication, authorization, rate limits, usage controls, security controls, or restrictions on credit-consuming integrations.
- Introduce malware, destructive code, automated abuse, scraping, credential attacks, or activity intended to impair the Service.
- Reverse engineer or exploit the Service except to the limited extent a restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
- Use FairFiles Hub materials to impersonate FairFiles Hub, Credit Score Defenders LLC, a court, regulator, attorney, credit bureau, creditor, or government agency.
19. Suspension, Restriction, and Termination
FairFiles Hub may suspend, restrict, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address suspected fraud, abuse, security risk, unlawful conduct, material breach of these Terms, provider restrictions, legal obligations, or threats to the Service or others.
Where appropriate and lawful, FairFiles Hub may investigate before restoring access. Suspension does not eliminate obligations or rights that by their nature survive termination.
20. Service Availability and Changes
The Service may be modified, interrupted, suspended, or discontinued, and individual tools, providers, templates, sources, or features may change without guaranteeing continuous availability.
FairFiles Hub may correct errors, update content, retire unsafe or obsolete features, or impose reasonable usage and security controls.
21. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, software, original text, templates, branding, and other protected materials, is owned by or licensed to Credit Score Defenders LLC and protected by applicable intellectual-property law.
Subject to these Terms, FairFiles Hub grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service and permitted downloadable materials for your own lawful personal use.
No license is granted to copy the Service for resale, create a competing library from protected content, remove proprietary notices, or use FairFiles Hub marks in a way that suggests sponsorship or affiliation.
22. Information You Submit
You retain whatever rights you have in information you deliberately submit. You grant FairFiles Hub and its providers the limited rights reasonably necessary to process that information for the feature you requested, maintain security, comply with law, enforce these Terms, and protect rights and safety.
This limited processing permission does not transfer ownership of your local vault files or locally generated records to FairFiles Hub.
23. Feedback
If you voluntarily provide ideas or feedback about the Service, you grant Credit Score Defenders LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to use that feedback to improve or develop the Service, without identifying you publicly unless separately authorized.
24. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." FAIRFILES HUB AND CREDIT SCORE DEFENDERS LLC DISCLAIM EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND RESULTS, EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT A WARRANTY CANNOT LAWFULLY BE DISCLAIMED.
FairFiles Hub does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, complete, current, free from harmful components, or suitable for your specific matter.
25. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FAIRFILES HUB, CREDIT SCORE DEFENDERS LLC, AND THEIR OFFICERS, MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOST PROFITS; LOST OPPORTUNITY; LOSS OR CORRUPTION OF USER-CONTROLLED FILES; OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON EDUCATIONAL, AI, TEMPLATE, CALCULATOR, OR THIRD-PARTY CONTENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF FAIRFILES HUB AND CREDIT SCORE DEFENDERS LLC ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE FREE FAIRFILES HUB SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU ACTUALLY PAID DIRECTLY FOR THE FAIRFILES HUB SERVICE DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
These exclusions and limits do not apply to liability, remedies, statutory damages, warranties, or duties that applicable law does not permit to be excluded or limited.
26. Responsibility for Your Misuse
To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs caused by your unlawful misuse of the Service, your knowing submission of false information, your infringement of another person’s rights, or your unauthorized access to another account or system.
This section does not require you to indemnify FairFiles Hub for conduct for which applicable law does not permit indemnification, including liability that cannot lawfully be shifted to a consumer.
27. Events Beyond Reasonable Control
FairFiles Hub is not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside reasonable control, including internet or cloud outages, provider failures, cyberattacks, natural disasters, government actions, labor disruptions, or failures of user devices or networks, except to the extent applicable law provides otherwise.
28. Good-Faith Dispute Notice
Before filing a formal claim, you may send a written notice to legal@fairfilehub.com describing the issue and requested resolution so the parties can attempt an informal good-faith resolution.
This informal process is optional, does not require you to delay emergency or protective relief, and does not extend or shorten any statute of limitations, filing deadline, or non-waivable right.
29. No Mandatory Arbitration or Class-Action Waiver in These Terms
These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration, a class-action waiver, a jury-trial waiver, a shortened limitations period, or unilateral attorney-fee shifting.
Any future addition of a mandatory dispute-resolution provision would require a conspicuous policy update and any acceptance required by applicable law before it could apply.
30. Governing Law and Non-Waivable Consumer Rights
To the extent permitted by law, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. This clause does not waive or reduce any non-waivable federal, state, territorial, tribal, or local consumer protection, privacy, jurisdictional, venue, or other statutory right that applies to you.
Nothing in these Terms waives or limits a consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived, including rights under applicable privacy, consumer-protection, credit-reporting, debt-collection, accessibility, contract, or other laws.
31. Severability and Construction
If a provision is held unlawful or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remainder of these Terms will remain effective. A court should modify an invalid provision only to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable where the law permits.
32. No Waiver
Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later. A waiver is effective only for the specific matter for which it is given.
33. Assignment
You may not transfer your account or assign these Terms without written consent. Credit Score Defenders LLC may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to applicable law.
34. Entire Agreement and Incorporated Policies
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Legal Information Disclaimer, Cookie & Tracking Notice, Electronic Communications & Signatures Consent, Communications & Consent Notice, AI & Automated Tools Disclosure, Data Retention & Deletion Notice, Security & Responsible Disclosure, Copyright & Acceptable Use notice, and other policies expressly incorporated by reference, form the agreement governing the Service.
35. Changes to These Terms
FairFiles Hub may update these Terms to reflect changes in law, technology, providers, security, Service features, or business operations. Material changes will be identified by a new version and updated date.
When a material change requires renewed assent, protected tools may remain locked until the current terms and required acknowledgments are accepted.
36. Legal Notices and Contact
Legal notices and questions about these Terms may be sent to legal@fairfilehub.com. Privacy requests should be sent to privacy@fairfilehub.com, and suspected security issues should be sent to security@fairfilehub.com.

Nationwide October 2026 revision: expanded eligibility, service limitations, user responsibilities, warranty and liability limits, dispute handling, state-law savings clauses, and protections for local-first and AI-assisted tools.
FairFiles Hub provides nationwide U.S. consumer credit and debt education, controlled self-help letter templates, local evidence encryption, financial calculators, complaint worksheets, official-resource links, AI-assisted education, and minimum account controls. It does not analyze uploaded documents, manage a lawsuit, file a dispute or complaint, submit a court document, or act for a user. FairFiles Hub is not a law firm, credit bureau, lender, government agency, or collection agency, does not provide legal representation or professional advice, and does not guarantee any outcome. Non-waivable rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
