FairFiles Hub Legal Center
Cookie & Tracking Notice
FairFiles Hub uses limited browser storage and provider-controlled technologies for authentication, security, hosting, and local functionality. The active application source does not use advertising pixels or targeted-advertising code.
1. Scope of This Notice
This Cookie & Tracking Notice explains cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar technologies used by FairFiles Hub and by providers that support authentication, hosting, security, and delivery of the Service. It supplements the Privacy Policy.
FairFiles Hub is a consumer education and self-help technology platform owned and operated by Credit Score Defenders LLC in New York. It provides consumer education, local evidence-organization tools, and document-preparation assistance. FairFiles Hub is not a law firm and does not provide legal representation. Legal notices may be sent to legal@fairfilehub.com.
2. What These Technologies Are
Cookies are small text files stored on a browser or device. Local storage and session storage are browser-based storage mechanisms. Similar technologies may include security tokens, device or session identifiers, and provider-controlled technical logs.
Not every technical identifier is used for advertising or profiling. Many are necessary to sign users in, maintain security, preserve a requested preference, or operate the website.
3. Categories Used by the Active Service
Category Purpose Examples Typical duration Strictly necessary / provider-essential Authentication, fraud prevention, security, routing, availability, and core hosting Authentication session, anti-abuse/security identifiers, infrastructure session data Provider-controlled and dependent on the live authentication/hosting configuration Local functional storage Remember a local preference or progress in this browser Accessibility settings, local checklist state, feature preferences Until cleared by the user, expired by the application, or replaced Temporary session storage Carry short-lived registration or workflow state in the same browser session Pending signup profile and required policy selections Generally the browser session or a short application-defined period Optional application analytics Not active in the current application source No client click-event analytics are intentionally initiated by the active source Not applicable unless the Service is changed 4. Essential Technologies
Some cookies or technical storage may be necessary for sign-in, account security, fraud prevention, abuse detection, request routing, or core site operation. Blocking essential technologies can prevent login or other features from functioning.
FairFiles Hub does not represent that it controls every cookie, token, log, or storage event created by Base44, authentication providers, content-delivery infrastructure, browsers, or other third-party systems.
5. No Advertising Pixels or Targeted Advertising in the Active Source
The active FairFiles Hub application source does not intentionally install advertising pixels, run client-side targeted-advertising code, or sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
If FairFiles Hub materially changes these practices, the Privacy Policy and this Notice must be updated and any legally required notice, consent, or opt-out mechanism must be implemented before the new practice is activated.
6. Third-Party and Provider Technologies
Authentication, hosting, email, AI-processing, security, media, and other infrastructure providers may receive ordinary technical information such as IP address, user agent, device/browser data, request timestamps, and security events as needed to provide their services.
When you open a third-party destination, that site may set its own cookies or use other tracking technologies. FairFiles Hub does not control the destination’s practices.
7. Browser and Device Controls
- Most browsers allow you to delete stored cookies and site data and to block some or all cookies.
- Clearing local or session storage may reset preferences, delete local progress, or interrupt a pending signup or workflow.
- Blocking essential authentication or security storage may prevent member access or protected features from working.
- Private-browsing modes and browser extensions may alter or block storage behavior.
8. Global Privacy Control and Universal Opt-Out Signals
The active FairFiles Hub application does not currently perform sale, sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, or targeted advertising that would require an application-level opt-out signal to change that behavior.
If FairFiles Hub later engages in processing for which applicable law requires recognition of Global Privacy Control or another approved universal opt-out mechanism, FairFiles Hub must implement the legally required response before that processing is activated.
9. Do Not Track
Browsers may send a Do Not Track signal. There is no single nationwide technical standard requiring all websites to respond to that signal in the same way. FairFiles Hub does not use the active application source for targeted advertising, so the signal does not currently change an advertising profile on this Service.
10. Consent and State-Law Requirements
Where applicable U.S. law requires consent, notice, or an opt-out mechanism for a technology or processing purpose, FairFiles Hub will apply that requirement to the covered activity before using it.
This statement does not mean every technical cookie or security identifier requires consent. Legal treatment depends on the technology, purpose, jurisdiction, and applicable law.
11. Changes to This Notice
FairFiles Hub may update this Notice when technologies, providers, laws, or Service practices change. Material changes will be reflected in the version and last-updated date.
