How to Get Your Free Credit Reports

Use the federally authorized source and review each nationwide bureau report without giving your report to FairFiles Hub.

Start with the authorized source

Use AnnualCreditReport.com to request reports from Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion. You may also use each bureau's official site, but confirm the domain before entering identity information. FairFiles Hub does not retrieve reports for you and should not receive a complete report.

Protect your identity information

A report request may require identity verification. Enter Social Security numbers, birth dates, addresses, and security answers only on the verified bureau or federally authorized request site. Do not paste them into FairFiles Hub, email, chat, or a complaint narrative.

Save and compare locally

Download each report to encrypted storage you control. Record the report date and bureau, then compare names, addresses, accounts, balances, payment history, collection items, inquiries, and public-record information. The three reports may differ because not every furnisher reports to every bureau.
